As you may be aware, the need for competent electrocardiographic interpretations and cardiac nursing skills has never been more important and relevant than it is today. Many hospitals nationwide have called on the Foundation to provide an independent evaluation service in order to insure their staff have met a national standard of accountability. Your hospital and you will want to be one step ahead of the new JACHO, SCPC, and Magnet requirements without shouldering the entire responsibility, and that is where the Foundation can assist you. Even if your hospital already has an excellent in-house ECG and Cardiovascular Nursing education program, the need to evaluate and certify your staff's knowledge is something that may be lacking or in high demand in your hospital.

The Foundation has been a leader in cardiovascular education for 35 plus years and can assure you that they have worked with an outstanding national medical advisory committee to bring you these overdue education and certification services.

Through a liaison with the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine, we are able to offer CVRN Board Certification Exams and Awards, and ECG Board Certification Exams and Awards onsite. These exams include:

CVRN Levels I - Cardiac Nurses - Telemetry
CVRN Level II - Cardiac Nurses - CCU, CVICU, Cath Lab, Cardiac Surgery
Basic ECG Level I - Medical Surgical Staff new to ECG Monitoring
Basic ECG Level II - Physicians, PA's, NP's, Nurses, ECG Technicians, & First Responders
Emergency ECG - Emergency and Chest Pain Department Physicians
Advanced Practice - Hospital ECG Panel Readers
