About ACCN/MHF Educational Opportunities:
ACCN/MHF companies are independent
entities which create and market their own educational and product service line.
Unlike the commercial sector of the industry, ACCN/MHF member companies are
committed to sharing experiences, research, and educational activities aimed at
improving the industry's cardiology service line, to its member nurses,
physicians, technicians, and first responders.
To this end, the ACCN/MHF holds numerous workshops and professional meetings
throughout the year. The ACCN's annual meeting draws cardiac nursing
professionals, including occasional international attendees, to network and
participate in educational sessions. Attendance at the annual meeting is
open to all individuals with an interest in cardiology education. The ACCN/MHF
seminars, courses, and workshops focus on issues that effect the care of cardiac
patients, risk management issues, and on preparing professionals for CVRN and
ECG Board Certification. Attendance at the ACCN/MHF meetings is open to
our membership as well as to other non-member cardiac professionals.
The ACCN/MHF offers co-sponsorship opportunities to organizations, hospitals, and associations upon request. We can host any of the Seminars, Workshops, or Courses listed below. A national Marriott Heart's ECG Tour is being organized for 2009-2010 for those interested in learning how to take advantage of this opportunity, contact us at bbryant33@tampabay.rr.com. See list of identified cities for the first leg of the tour --see Tour Cities.
The ACCN is an accredited sponsor of
continuing nursing education (CNE) for nurses and nurse practitioners
through the Arizona Chapter of ACCN and the California Board of Nursing.
The MHF works with hospital CME providers to provide CME for physicians,
physician's assistants, and nurse practitioners.
