ABOUT THE
FOUNDATION
ACCN/MHF Foundation is an independent entity which creates and markets
its own services and products. Unlike the commercial sector
of the industry, ACCN/MHF membership is committed to sharing
experiences, research, and educational activities for physicians,
nurses, technicians, and first responders, with the goal of improving
patient care across the continuum of cardiovascular care.
ACCN Conference attendees recent visit to one of St. Luke's
Episcopal Hospital's Cath Labs where some 60 procedures per day are
performed. Top photo attendees, bottom photo Yvonne

cath labs. Two of us were allowed to observe a PFO closure in
56 year old man who suffered a mild stroke.
The ACCN/MHF holds numerous workshops and
professional meetings throughout the year. The ACCN's annual meeting
draws cardiac nursing professionals, including occasional
international attendees, to network and participate in educational
sessions. Attendance at the annual meeting is open to all
individuals with an interest in cardiology education. The ACCN/MHF
seminars, courses, and workshops focus on issues that effect the
care of cardiac patients, risk management issues, and on preparing
professionals for CVRN and ECG Board Certification. Attendance
at the ACCN/MHF meetings is open to our membership as well as to
other non-member cardiac professionals.
The
ACCN/MHF offers co-sponsorship opportunities to organizations,
hospitals, and associations upon request.
We can host any of the Seminars, Workshops, or Courses listed below.
A national tour is being organized for 2009-2010 for those
